Annual Scholarship Program

AIA Northeast Illinois is dedicated to promoting and strengthening the field of architecture. Each year, our Annual Scholarship Program awards two $3,000 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in architecture. The process begins in late January with the opening of the submission process. Applications are accepted until late April and are then reviewed by the scholarship committee. Candidates are selected for a final interview and the winners are announced in June.

AIA Northeast Illinois

AIA Northeast Illinois is one of over 200 local and state chapters of the American Institute of Architects consisting of over 550 architects and associate architects based in the northern and western suburbs of Chicago.

Our chapter's board with a wide range of knowledge and expertise provide the leadership for our members to fulfill our chapter's mission and vision. Their guidance provides members educational programs, networking events and opportunities to educate and advocate for the field of architecture.
