Large firms often have people or formal processes for quality assurance and control. In small firms, this process is often less formal, if there is a process at all. But maintaining quality in our work is key to the success of our projects and our firms. Do you have a process for your small firm? Do you have checklists for each stage of a project? Do you have a partner, employee or friend review your drawings before you issue them? How do you work with your consultants to assure the quality of their work? Join us as we discuss how to maintain high quality standards.

In order to bring this to our members at no cost this is a “bring your own lunch” program. Bring a brown bag, or pick up a lunch from a nearby restaurant. A list of local restaurants can be found here.

During this session you will:
1. Discuss why a quality control process is important.
2. Share what small firms are doing to insure the quality of their work.
3. Share checklists and other tools for quality assurance.
4. Discuss how to best work with quality assurance consultants.
