This program will be presented by Paul Hardin Kapp, Associate Professor, School of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Campaign.  Professor Hardin will review the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit and the Certified Historic Preservation Rehabilitation Program. These are some of the most powerful tools we have in regenerating our historic resources for new productive uses in U.S. cities. However, few design professionals understand how to use these programs and most owners and building officials are confused about what they can and cannot do.

During this program you will:
1. learn how Certified Historic Rehabilitation and Historic Tax Credit Works
2. learn how to use the National Register of Historic places to be used as a benefit and what the capabilities are within the program
3. be able to walk away with a more in depth knowledge of building codes within historic buildings
4. learn how to structure a certified historic tax credit rehabilitation project and the benefit of using this within the community

Prior to the webinar you will receive additional information on how to access the program.
